The Majority in Parliament has indicated that President Akufo-Addo will deliver the State of the Nation Address (SONA) next week Wednesday 30th March 2022.
Majority Chief Whip, Frank Annor-Dompreh, disclosed this during the presentation of the business statement for next week.
“Mr. Speaker the President of the Republic is scheduled to deliver the message on the state of the nation on Wednesday 30th March 2022 in accordance with Article 67 of the 1992 Constitution.
“In the pursuance of the convention of the House Honorable Members are urged to be punctual and seated in the Chamber latest by quarter past 9am.”
He further stated that the debate on the State of the Nation delivered by the President will have a motion moved on Thursday 31st March 2022.
