Ghana defender Alexander Djiku has issued a passionate battle cry ahead of their 2022 World Cup play-off double header against Nigeria.

The Black Stars will host Nigeria at the BabaYara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, March 25, with the reverse leg set for Abuja four days later at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

The Winner of the two legs will progress to the continental showpiece.

Ahead of the first showdown between the West African giants, the Strasbourg ace assured Ghanaians that the team is ready to fight for their place in Qatar.

Ghana are aiming for a fourth appearance after missing the 2018 edition in Russia, while Nigeria are hoping to qualify for a seventh.
