Communications Director for Accra Hearts of Oak, Kwame Opare Addo says Hearts of Oak will sign Samuel Inkoom when he impresses the technical team.

The former U-20 World Cup winner was spotted training with the defending champions of the Ghana Premier League today.
The 32-year old is now a free agent after having stints with clubs in Europe with Torpedo Kutaisi being the last club he featured for before returning to Ghana earlier this year.

Speaking to Starr FM Sports, Communications Director for Hearts pf Oak, Kwame Opare Addo confirmed that the Black Stars player has started training with them.

“Inkoom trained with Hearts of Oak today and will continue to train with the team while the technical team led by coach Samuel Boadu continue to observe him him.” he said.

He also revealed that Samuel Inkoom has no contract with the club but a good report and recommendation from the technical team of Hearts of Oak will  earn him a contract.

“It is based on the observations and recommendations that we will receive from the head coach that the club will determine the next stage. We don’t have any deal with Samuel Inkoom. We have started the observation period under the technical team so we are waiting patiently.”

“If the technical team says he is okay, he meets whatever they are looking for, he has something that can bring a positive impact, we will sign him.” He added.

Samuel Inkoom plied his trade on the local scene for Asante Kotoko before joining FC Basel in 2009.
