Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, Samuel Inkoom has called for the inclusion of former Inter and AC Milan star Sulley Muntari in the Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.

In an exclusive interview on Starr FM’s Footie Fanatics with Benjamin Yamoah, the U-20 World Cup winner intimates that Muntari deserves a place in the current Black Stars team due to his performance and vast experience.

“The experienced players need to be invited. I will be very excited if Sulley Muntari is invited for the game again Nigeria. He will be a source of motivation and guide for the players.”

Black Stars interim coach Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the doubleheader this week.
