The midfielder joins TPS Turku – a second-tier outfit on a one-year deal with an option to extend for another year. He joins them on a free transfer from Finnish side Inter Turku where he made just two appearance.

In view of that, we take a look at the journey of the 35 year old born in Accra.

He started his colts football for Super Rainbow Stars in Cape Coast and late joined Division One league club, Venomous Vipers. He joined Sekondi Hasaacas in 2003 and later joined Hearts of Oak in 2005.

He later joined Norwegian club Start in January 2007 after flourishing with Hearts of Oak. He made 11 apperances for Start before joining Stabæk on loan in 2008.

He then signed for Rosenberg in August 2008 where he made 51 appearances. He later joined German Bundesliga club Schalke O4 in 2011 making 12 appaerances. In between his days in Germany, he went on loan to Vitesse Arnhem and Osasuna.

Annan joined Finnish Side HJK permanently in 2014 and helped them to win the Finnish league for a sixth time in a row. He then joined Geman club, 1860 München in 2015. He made only three appearances and joined Stabæk again on a permanent deal making seven appearances.

From 2016-2018 Annan featured 72 times for HJK. He then signed for Beitar Jerusalem in 2019 until he joined Inter Turku in Finland the following season
