Nigeria Football Federation Media Officer Ayo Olu Ibidapo has expressed worry over Ghana’s decision not to make the Black Stars squad public ahead of their game next week.

The GFA decided not to follow the norm of publishing their squad ahead of the Nigeria clash. A decision which has been highly criticized by some football pundits and connoisseurs.

Reacting to the strategy adopted by the GFA, Ibidapo indicates to Starr FM  Sports that though it’s worrying they still know how the Black Stars play.

“It’s worrisome because it’s the norm that every country that you are playing against will be interested in knowing the players but if that is the strategy like what we are reading on the internet, definitely on the match day we will get to see the list of players and we will expect the Ghanaian team to come attacking, especially at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium”.

”We expect a team that will have players we are still going to be used to, they are obviously still going to have Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew and the star players that we know, So even if they don’t release the squad we still know what to expect because we know how Ghana play” he said.

The first leg of the World Cup playoffs is scheduled for March 25 in a yet to be named venue in Ghana, with the second leg expected to come off in Abuja on March 27
