50-year-old Gustav Nana Kwame Wontumi has been installed chief of Abura Tetsi in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese district of the Central Region.
With stool name Nana Okogyeeman Oprepeh X, the new overlord for Abura Tetsi was outdoored in a colorful ceremony.
Until his installation he was spokesperson for the Abura Tetsi Royal Palace. He later left for the United Kingdom from where he returned to take up his new role.
He succeeded Nana Oprepeh IX who died in August 2021.
Speaking to Starr News after his installation, Nana Okogyeeman Oprepeh X disclosed his focus to bring development to his people.
According to him, his immediate task is to get investors into his community which can boast of vast lands for commercial farming and other purposes such as real estate and factories.
