One of Ghana’s budding singers Eugene Akuamoah Boateng also known as Tipcy, has stated that musicians in Ghana have not made judicious use of the media prowess and have disregarded the effectiveness of the on-air business in the music industry.

According to the Baby Mama singer, most Ghanaian musicians for one reason or another other have failed to make good use of the radio system in the country to project their music crafts to the rest of the world.

Speaking on his Luv 99.5 FM in Kumasi as part of this radio tour to promote Ewurazi Boame single, Tipcy also stated that appearing on radio as a musician does not guarantees one’s success in the music game. He added that prominence in the music game requires more than just appearing on radio for interviews.

He said, “I feel musicians in this country are not using the radio properly. The fact that you’ve come on the radio, doesn’t mean that you have blown. There is a lot of work to be done afterwards”.

It’s a great platform for us. But if we don’t use it properly when availed to us, then we fail.
