The French Afrobeat singer Orti has teamed up with Ghanaian highlife maestro, Kwabena Kwabena on a new Afro-highlife tune Chocolat

Chocolat is so electric, it rides on a beautifully crafted tune that music lovers will appreciate and connect well with. It was sung in Twi, English, and French.

The rich music piece praises the beautiful skin tone and the distinct nature of the  Nubian/black women, which they described as “Chocolate” or Chocolat.

Kwabena Kwabena’s nostalgic style of music is a real tear-jerker in the song, while Orti blended it up with an energetic and uplifting style. The two in the song merge their styles to make a harmonic tune, making the song a perfect mix to jam with.

The two artists performed the song at the just-ended “Accra in Paris” concert in April.

Orti is yet to drop his much anticipated”OGA” album, a beautifully creative piece of the afrobeats genre with over 12 tracks produced by Passi Balende, a French rapper, and one of the first generation hip hop artists in France. Passi has been a member of the group Ministère Amer, voicing the harshest critical opinions on French politics and social problems.

He said, “I want to be distinct from other French artists. It is not easy to be recognized as an artist over there because they are all doing the same thing, so switching to Afrobeats gave me more room to explore and find my strength in music. The target is to reach more audiences from all parts of the world, not only France. “
