Rose Yeboah has won Ghana’s first goal medal at the ongoing African Senior Athletics Championships in Mauritius, clearing the bar at 1.79m to win the women’s high jump.
Rose beat opponents from Nigeria, Temitope Adeshina and Yvonne Robson of South Africa to clinch the gold medal in Mauritius.
The University of Cape Coast student also won gold at the African Games in Rabat in 2019.
The 21-year-old al holds the Ghana University Sports Association Games record with 1.85m.
