Leela’s Foundation, an international NGO has constructed four new schools blocks in Frankadua in the Eastern Region.

This was done in partnership with SamBoad Business Group LLC’s as a means to provide educational support and increase literacy in Ghana.

Residents in the town were heavily involved in the execution of the project.

According to the founder of SamBoad Foundation, the charity arm of SamBoad Business Group Limited, Samuel Kwame Boadu, “our organization believes every student deserves a healthy and safe environment” and that is why the organization has partnered local assemblies and Leela’s Foundation in providing educational support services.”

At an event to commission the school blocks in Frankadua in The Asuogyaman District of the Eastern Region, Samuel Kwame Boadu and Leela Galvez praised the community volunteers for the zeal and enthusiasm exhibited in completing the project months ahead of schedule.

The Frankadua community gathered amidst traditional music and dance at the commissioning of the classroom blocks, full of praise for Leela, a donor in whose memory the facilities were built.

The elated community folks welcomed Leela Galvez and Samuel Kwame Boadu and his team. The Foundation which started some years ago has brought about conducive study area for communities in four countries.

What makes SamBoad Foundation & Leela’s Foundation unique is the collaboration with foreign donors, local assemblies and ordinary townsfolk who normally volunteer labour for the construction works and the yearly Christmas party held for the children of the four schools.
