A man has died after he was injured following an attack by a lion at the Accra Zoo Sunday.
According to the Forestry Commission, the middle-aged man scaled the walls of the zoo into the perimeter where the lions are kept prompting the attack.
A statement from the Forestry Commission said the body of the deceased has been deposited at the morgue.
The statement denied reports that one of the lions has escaped from the zoon.
