The Queen’s eight grandchildren have held a vigil at her lying-in-state at Westminster Hall.

Princes William and Harry wore Blues and Royals military uniform, the rest were dressed in black.

The Prince of Wales and the Duke of Sussex are in military uniform.

Earlier, King Charles and Prince William greeted some of those queuing to pay their respects to the Queen.

Hundreds of people lining the banks of the Thames cheered and applauded as the King and his son appeared.

The government queue tracker is hovering around 13.5 hours – it was 24 hours at the start of the day.

The queue for people with accessibility requirements is now permanently closed as all the time slots have been allocated.
