The 10th Tana Forum, which started on Friday, was officially opened this morning by the Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
Joining us for the Forum are the President of Sudan, Prime Minister of Somali and the Vice President of Uganda.
The Tana Forum, represented by the baobab tree, is emblematic of sitting together, talking together, and discussing together.
Since its inception in 2012, the Tana Forum has afforded frank and candid discussions on topical issues of regional and global relevance. It will continue to do so in the years ahead.
This year, we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Tana Forum, and I would like to congratulate everyone for making the Tana Forum a resounding success story where ideas, solutions, and networking are pollinated.
