A former Deputy Minister for Defense under the John Mahama administration, Hon. Gilbert Kenneth Adjei was adjudged the Best Graduating Student in Peace, Security, and Intelligence Management at the 5th Graduation Ceremony of the University of Professional Studies,(UPSA).

The colorful ceremony saw students in Master of Arts in Peace, Security and Intelligence, Doctor of Philosophy in Marketing, and Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership & Organizational Development graduate from the University.

The Peace, Security, and Intelligence program saw some prominent statesmen and women, Members of Parliament, High-ranking government officials, and high-level Security personnel from various security services graduate from various programmes of study.

Among the over 100 students graduated, the Former Minister for Defense Gilbert Kenneth Adjei was awarded the best graduating student for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Speaking at the graduating ceremony on rising incidents of terrorism in the West African sub-region, Minister for National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah admonished Ghanaians to take seriously government’s “See something, say something” campaign, an initiative to keep everybody alert to look out for suspicious characters.
