Revered Ghanaian Broadcaster, Natalie Fort has been listed as an honouree for the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) 100 Under 40 recognition 2022, within the Media and Culture category.
The Television Personality who serves as Host and Co-Producer of The Natalie Fort Show and News Anchor with GHOneTV was listed in the category with other leading media personalities in Africa, such as DJ Zinhle from South Africa and Swanky Jerry from Nigeria amongst others.
Ms. Fort was nominated for the MIPAD recognition in 2021 and 2022, yet has been listed as an honouree for the year 2022. The Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) is in support of the International Decade for People of African Descent, proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 68/237 and to be observed from 2015 to 2024.
MIPAD identifies high achievers of African descent in public and private sectors from all around the world, as a progressive network of relevant actors to join together in the spirit of recognition, justice, and development of Africa, its people on the continent, and across the diaspora.
Natalie Fort launched her media career at age 20 with the TV3 Network, as Anchor of News in Brief, Midday Live, and later lead Anchor on TV3’s prime time bulletin, News 360. She also served as a News Reporter developing reports in the fields of International News, Human Interest, and Business News.
Currently, Natalie Fort serves as Senior Broadcast Journalist and Presenter with GHOneTV a member of the Excellence in Broadcasting (EIB) Network, Africa’s fastest-growing media group. There she hosts and co-produces a prime-time talk show – The Natalie Fort Show which seeks to have ‘conversations that matter’ with iconic personalities who have impactful life stories, the show takes a conversational nature with the aim of discovering the human behind it all.
Ms. Fort also works as a Master of Ceremonies, successfully hosting and co-hosting events such as the 26th Ghana Journalists Association Awards, Forty Under 40 Awards 2021, She Inspires Global Summit 2021, Glitz She Summit 2022, and Ghana Insurance Awards 2022 amongst others. Natalie’s now five-year Media and Broadcasting career has seen her receive awards such as the Excellent Personality Merit Award (2017), being listed amongst the 50 Most Influential Young Ghanaians (2018), Emerging TV Personality of the year (2019), Most Outstanding Female Media Personality Year Award (2020), amongst others.
Natalie Fort also serves as the Ghana Country Chair for the G100 Media, Arts & Communication Wing, she is an Advisory Board Member for the World Sustainability Organization, and Vice President for Africa for GWoman Media, she is passionate about empowering young African females through media and entrepreneurship.
The Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) recognition has been endorsed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, African Union, Great Green Wall, CNN, and the African Professionals Network to name a few.
