The new minority leadership seems to have hit the ground running in spite of the turmoil generated by the reshuffle of the leadership of the minority caucus.

Addressing the media this morning the minority leader, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson after a meeting with the party leadership at the headquarters announced a general caucus meeting with the National Executives next week Tuesday which is expected to officially usher the new leadership into office.

“We have agreed with the leadership of our party that beginning from today there will be series of activities that will be undertaken. The minority caucus will have our maiden meeting with our leadership and the party leadership on Tuesday, 31st January 2023. It’s our hope that in that meeting we’ll resolve all outstanding concerns.”

The Ajumako Enyan Essiam MP once again stated victory for the NDC in 2024 is the mission.

“We believe that this team will deliver the NDC a victory from the parliamentary side and we’re determined to do just that. As I have said beginning from today we’ve announced a roadmap and we’ll execute just that and i can only say the NPP should get ready.”

General Secretary for the party Fifi Kwetey also assured the new leadership of support to ensure the party is strengthened for victory.

” We appreciate that the work ahead is going to require a lot of input coming from them and of course they understand that as a wing of the party they need to work very closely with the leadership of the party to ensure that we can deliver the aspirations of our people and especially being able to do what Ghana requires of us which is to work towards taking out of power the most abysmal, the most incompetent and corrupt government in the history of our country,” the General Secretary said.
