The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration says 74 Ghanaians from Sudan are expected back home in Ghana Tuesday morning, May 2, 2023, following their successful evacuation to Ethiopia with the assistance of officials of the Ghanaian Embassy there.
This comes after conflict erupted between rival factions of the Military government of Sudan a fortnight ago.
More than 500 people have died in the conflict with more than 4,000 persons sustaining various forms of injuries.
