The Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency, Dr. Clement Abas Apaak, has presented 720 Mathematical Sets to final year Junior High School students who are preparing for their Basic Certificate Examination.

In a statement by the NDC Builsa South Deputy Communication Officer, Akogtu Danielin indicated the move is a yearly support to the students made to the District Director of Education for onward distribution to the candidates.

The NDC Constituency Secretary Mr. Richard Kazi, presenting the items on behalf of the MP, reiterated the MP’s strong commitment to Education and Empowerment of the Youth and Women, who are often deprived.

According to him, Dr. Apaak sees education as a strong tool that can propel development in society and, as such, always tailored his energy and personal resources towards these areas since 2016.

The Builsa South District Director of Education thanked the MP for his kind gesture.

According to the Director, the donation was timely and will go a long way to support needy students and afford some the opportunity to learn it’s use before the examination.

Receiving the items, the Director further appealed to the MP to support the Directorate to transport students who are from distant communities to the examination centers.

“Dr. Apaak has since agreed and is working with the NDC chairman of Builsa South, Mr. Ceaser Akinkang to assist,” the deputy Communication Officer disclosed.
