The University of Cape Coast (UCC) Alumni Association has honoured Prophet Albert Asihene-Arjarquah as alumni Religious Exploit Personality.

Prophet Arjarquah was selected among 60 renowned alumni of the university in Ghana and Abroad excelling at their various fields of endeavour and raising the flag of UCC high.

The recognition is part of the 60th anniversary celebration of the University.

Some of the awardees include Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, former Vice Chancellor of the University and 2020 running mate of opposition NDC.

Prophet Albert Asihene -Arjarquah pursued chemistry at UCC and completed in 2005.

He however responded to the divine calling by going into full time ministry.

Prophet Arjarquah has since been ministering the prophetic messages in Ghana and abroad.

His Ministry ,the Prophet Albert Asihene -Arjarquah Ministry (PAAAM) continue to push the frontiers of accurate prophecies and redemption.

He also uses the ministry to embark on philanthropic interventions with special focus on Prisons as well as brilliant but needy students.

Speaking to the media after the award embedded in the launch of Eastern Regional chapter of UCC Alumni Association, President of UCC Alumni Association, Samuel Danso Akoto explained to the media in an interview that “during our 60th anniversary we decided to award prominent people who have gone through university of Cape Coast and are doing marvelous things in different fields. So we awarded people in Academia, Politics, Business that is Entrepreneurs, Religion and that is the category that Prophet Albert-Asihene Arjarquah falls under.”

He said some of the distinguished personalities awarded include “Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang, Totobi Kwakye was as well awarded and many others for recognition of their impact in society they went through UCC and completed UCC and they are standing out in their various field of endeavours” Samuel Danso Akoto explained.

Prophet Albert-Asihene Arjarquah after receiving the award registered his appreciation to the University’s alumni and entreated all alumnus to distinguish themselves wherever they find themselves.

He called for sustained unity and networking among UCC alumni members as a way of strengthening the association to leverage the power of unity and like-minded to transform society.

Present at the launch of the Eastern Regional Chapter of UCC Alumni Association was MCE of New Juaben Municipal Assembly Hon. Comfort Asante, Vice Chancellor Koforidua Technical University Prof David Kofi Essuman, and Asante Forkuo.

Inauguration of Regional UCC Alumni Association across the country is a step by leadership of the association to galvanize and network with the alumni for fruitful undertakings.

The association for instance intends to establish schorlarship scheme so support at least 50 needy but brilliant students annually to pursue various academic disciplines in UCC.
