Former Chief of Staff at the Presidency, Julius Debrah has stated that former President John Mahama is not the kind of person one can lobby easily for a running mate position.
This comes on the back of a number of interest groups and individuals mentioning his name as a possible running mate to former President John for the 2024 presidential elections.
In a statement the former Chief of Staff dissociated himself from the sentiment expressed in the media by these groups and individuals.
“I have worked with President Mahama and continue to be a close confidante of his. I have garnered enough experience working with him to know that he makes the right calls at the right time. He is not the kind of person to be lobbied for such a position,” Mr. Debrah stated.
