The Western Regional chapter of the Ghana Journalist Association (GJA) is calling on the government to as a matter of urgency ensure that the deplorable Ewusiejo stretch of the Takoradi – Agona Nkwanta road is fixed.
The situation has caused a blockade for the past four days as a result of two haulage trucks breaking down on the road due to the deplorable nature of the stretch.
Hundreds of commuters have to endure extreme frustration on the road for the past 4 days as duty bearers remain helpless in ensuring the broken down trucks are removed to pave way for smooth flow of traffic.
In a statement by the Western Regional Chapter of the GJA called on duty bearers to act fast in fixing the situation on the Ewusiejoe stretch for the past four days.
The GJA also expressed worry over the lack of any decisive solution from authorities.
