RESTORE Worldwide, Inc.: The Foundation for Reconstructive Surgery has grabbed a nomination for the 2024 Cheer Choice Award in the health category.

The nomination comes barely a few days after the globally recognized non-profit organization successfully completed over one hundred free surgeries at the Ho Teaching Hospital in Ghana.

The mission which lasted five surgery days happened from November 6 to 10, 2023 as the team addressed a wide range of cases, including congenital deformities, post-traumatic deformities, post-burn contractures, soft tissue tumors, benign or malignant, all breast anomalies, soft tissue defects, and genital anomalies.

Reacting to the recent nomination, the founder of the organization, world-renowned surgeon Dr. Michael K. Obeng intimated “This nomination is a testament to the incredible impact that our organization is making in the lives of individuals and communities.”
