Former President John Mahama has sent words of consolation to the Church of Pentecost over the death of Apostle Dr. Michael Ntumy.

“My deepest condolences to the family and the Church of Pentecost on the loss of Apostle Dr. Michael Ntumy.

“He was a true servant of God who dedicated his life to spreading the gospel and building the church. His legacy of faith, love, and leadership will continue to inspire and guide many,” Mr. Mahama wrote in  Facebook post.

The former Chairman of the Church of Pentecost, Apostle Dr. Michael Kwabena Ntumy has passed on Wednesday 27th December, 2023..

According to sources, he was living in Germany.

In the 1980s, Michael Ntumy worked as a teacher in Yendi before transitioning to the roles of Deacon and Elder. He married Martha at the age of 24 and embarked on full-time ministry with the Church of Pentecost at 26.

Recognized for his dedication, he was appointed to the office of an Apostle at the age of 33.

Six years later, he assumed the esteemed position of the fourth Chairman of The Church of Pentecost.

Following two terms of exemplary service spanning 10 years, Michael Ntumy gracefully handed over leadership to Apostle Professor Opoku Onyinah.

He retired as an Apostle last year after 39 years in Ministry.
