After 5 days of cooking, Abdul-Razak Faila has hit 120 hours of cooking breaking the current record held by Alan Fisher who cooked for 119 hours, 57 minutes and 16 seconds.

Faila started cooking at midnight on Monday 1st January and has been serving various dishes to fans who troop to the Modern City Hotel in Tamale to cheer her on.

Several notable personalities including the Chief of Staff, Frema Opare have visited her to lend their support.

The Ghanaian who attempted to break the Guinness World Record (GWR), Afua Asantewaa Owusu Aduonum has also made a visit to Faila.

Faila instead of ending at 120 hours has decided to do more to set a record that cannot be broken by anybody else.

She is set to cook for 5 more days making it 10 instead of the initial 5 days in order to clock 150 hours or more.

The Chef is using Jordin cookware in her attempt to set the Guinness World Record for the longest solo cooking attempt.

These cookware were donated to her by the former first lady Lordina Mahama.

The donation aims to support Chef Faila in achieving her dream and bring pride to the nation.
