Security analyst, Dr. Adam Bonaa has advised the COP rtd. George Alex Mensah to report Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akufo-Addo Dampare to the Office of the Special Prosecutor if he has evidence of alleged money sharing against him.

The Former Commissioner of Police George Alex Mensah has once again accused the Inspector General of Police, Dr. George Akufo-Addo Dampare of allegedly paying delegates to vote against him in the upcoming parliamentary primaries of the governing NPP.

COP rtd. George Alex Mensah was caught on a leaked tape plotting with two other senior officers and former NPP Northern Regional Chairman Bugri Naabu to get Dampare removed as IGP.

A leaked report of the committee circulated on social media has cleared the IGP of all allegations and indicted the senior police officers recommending further investigations and prosecution.

According to the parliamentary candidate hopeful for Bekwai in the Ashanti region, there are rumors that the Inspector General of Police is allegedly paying delegates to vote against him.

Speaking on Starr Today with Joshua Kodjo Mensah, the security analyst indicated that he is not surprised on the tangent Mr. Mensah is on with respect to the demands he was making in the leaked tape.

“The Special prosecutor arrested the CEO of the NEIP for allegedly sharing money with some people and I don’t know if that issue has been resolved. So as a senior police officer who is retired and gunning to be the Parliamentary candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Bekwai area, you know what to do.

“Naa Dedei asked him,” Do you have any evidence? He said ‘I have the proof’ if you have the proof what do you do, you go to the Special Prosecutor or show the proof. If you just say I have the proof and you don’t share the proof and you go on this tangent.  For me it doesn’t surprise me because what they attempted to do was to subvert the will of the people and go on and on,” Dr. Bonaa stated.
