Nana Aba Anamoah, founder of the Women of Valour initiative, has urged women in leadership positions to champion the women’s agenda through support, empowerment, and championing inclusion.

Emphasizing the importance of solidarity, Nana Aba declared, “If you are a woman in a leadership position, you need to be there for another woman. If you can’t hold another woman’s hand and help her grow, you are not worth your salt. You can’t be there.”

She went on to highlight the crucial role of women in promoting inclusion for gender parity: “Most importantly, as women wherever we find ourselves, I want to remind ourselves that inclusion is important.”

This year’s Women of Valour project, themed “Against All Odds,” seeks to celebrate and recognize the extraordinary courage of women, empower them to overcome challenges, and drive the advancement of the women’s agenda.

The launch featured the unveiling of Ghana’s award-winning movie director Shirley Frimpong-Manso, Nigeria’s iconic movie star Rita Dominic, and South Africa’s famous and talented TV presenter Bonang Matheba as the main speakers for the 2024 edition of ‘Women of Valour’.

The second edition of Women of Valour will take place at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA) auditorium on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 9:00 AM. This anticipated event welcomes students, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and anyone seeking inspiration, networking opportunities, and a supportive community.
