Former Member of Parliament for Okaikwei South, Nana Akomea has lauded Ghanaian music legend, Sarkodie as the biggest rapper in Africa.

According to him, the music ‘landlord’ has consistently delivered chart-topping hits over the years, captivating audiences with his lyrical prowess and unmatched stage presence.

Speaking to Bola Ray in an interview about some of his best artists in the music industry, he added that, Amerado is one of the most talented musicians in Ghana, with his recent masterpiece ‘Kwaku Ananse’ as his favourite.

Nana Akomea, who is also the Vice Chairman of the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia Campaign, and the Chief Executive Officer of the State Transport Company also disclosed that the State Transport Company (STC) almost collapsed during the heat of the COVID-19 lockdowns and border closures. 

He revealed that the border closures during COVID-19 by francophone countries reduced the revenue for STC.

He explained that STC is one of the largest carriers for about three major francophone countries and all came to a halt due to border closures.
