The Black Satellites will face Senegal in the semi-final of the men’s football tournament in the African Games at the Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday 19 March, after finishing top of Group A.

Ghana secured a 1-0 victory over Benin at the University of Ghana stadium, advancing to the final four and remaining in contention for a medal.

The Ghana U20 team secured seven points in three matches, defeating Gambia and Benin, and sharing the spoils with Congo.

The African Games host nation, Ghana, is joined by Congo from Group A with Senegal and Uganda progressing from Group B.

The semi-finals will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the top three teams claiming the football medal.

Meanwhile, The Black Princesses secured a spot in the semi-final after finishing top of their group and will face Senegal in the final four.

The Black Satellites are aiming for gold at the championship and are set to face Senegal in the semi-final on Tuesday.
