Ghana climbed the medal table at the ongoing African Games after winning twenty-one (21) medals in one day. On a day that saw Armwrestling produce 21 medals for Ghana, the country moved to seventh(7th) on the medal table from the previous sixteenth(16th).

Team Ghana in Armwrestling on Friday won 4 Gold medals, 10 Silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.

This medal haul brings Ghana’s total medals to twenty-six(26)

Ghana has another opportunity to win more medals as the games continue today with arm wrestling, boxing, and others that Ghana has strong contenders.

Ghana has meanwhile qualified for the semi-finals in football for both men and women and will have a chance at winning medals for team Ghana.
