A renowned actor and farmer, John Dumelo says former President John Mahama has Ghana’s Creative Industry at heart.

Speaking on Starr Chat with Bola Ray, the renowned actor stated that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will detail more on the plans the party has for the Creative Industry.

“Former President John has the Creative Industry at heart. Why is it that when it comes to elections they will want to involve a lot of creative people? Because they know we are a powerful block. Once we say we are going this way we do that together. I know for a fact that when our manifesto comes the plans for the Creative Act will be spelled out back to back,” Mr. Dumelo stated.

According to him, the Ghanaian youth are now more entrepreneurial and he intends to help them to achieve them.

“Because people want to be the boss, people want to own businesses. I feel the youth these days are more entrepreneurial,” he added.

Touching on what he has done for the educational institutions in his constituency, Mr. Dumelo stated that he had offered scholarships to several students.

“Recently I offered 200 scholarships across the constituency. We had over 4,000 applications. These are a few things I can do for GIMPA, Legon, and UPSA students among others and they are now working in banks, oil and gas companies, and restaurants,” he added.
