The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has issued a warning to the youth of Tema Newtown against any further attacks on its facilities and personnel.
This warning comes after a confrontation between Tema Newtown’s youth and the Ghana Navy personnel.
During the clash, two of the youth lost their lives, and three others were injured including the navy officers.
In a statement issued on Saturday, April 13, 2024, GAF stated that any additional acts of aggression would face suitable repercussions.
“The Ghana Police Service in collaboration with the Ghana Armed Forces have commenced investigations into the incident. Findings of the investigations would be made available in due course,” the statement said.
