Secretary to President Akufo-Addo, Nana Bediatuo Asante is now in a stable condition as he responds to treatment in the hospital, Jubilee House has said.
Mr. Bediatuo felt unwell after working on official business during a trip to the annual United Nations General Assembly meeting in New York. He was part of the Ghanaian delegation led by the president.
“He is currently in stable condition and responding well to treatment,” the statement signed by the Eugene Arhin who serves as Director of Communications at the Office of the President read. “According to the medical team, Nana Bediatuo Asante’s recovery is on track, and we remain hopeful for his swift return to full strength.”
Mr. Bediatuo is understood to be in the United States. He did not return with the President.
