Ghana’s chances of qualifying for the CAF Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Egypt 2024 are in doubt following their second straight loss in Group A.

The Black Sharks suffered a 5-2 defeat against Morocco on Monday, putting their chances of advancing to the knockout stages in serious jeopardy.

Ghana needed a strong performance against Morocco after a narrow 4-3 loss to Egypt in their opening game to maintain contention.

Ghana struggled to match the North African intensity, leaving them at the bottom of the group with no points from two matches.

Morocco secured their first-ever finalist position after finishing bronze in the last two editions, dominating the game and securing their top spot in Group A.

The defeat for Ghana adds pressure as they face a slim chance of qualification in their final group game.

Black Sharks need a strong win in their final match to maintain their hopes of advancing.

The team is set to face Tanzania in their final group stage test, who are also aiming for their first win of the tournament.
