The Ministry of Education (MoE) has formally announced the availability of the 2024/25 school placement results, allowing thousands of students to view their assigned schools for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions.

In a statement released on October 28, 2024, the Ministry confirmed that 563,339 placement results were received from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC). Of these, 553,155 candidates met the placement criteria, with 447,698 students—roughly 80.93%—automatically assigned to one of their selected schools.

Despite this, a notable group of students were left unmatched. “Approximately 104,918 qualified students could not be placed in any of their preferred choices,” the Ministry reported. Those in this category are encouraged to use the Self-Placement platform to choose from schools that still have available slots.

The Ministry detailed the process for checking placements: students are to visit the CSSPS website at https://www.cssps.gov.gh or https://www.cssps.org, input their ten-digit index number followed by their year of completion (e.g., 123456789024 for 2024), and submit their information to access results.

To further support students, the Ministry has set up additional resources, including a National Solution Centre at GNAT Hall in Accra, alongside 16 Regional Solution Centres. Students and parents can also reach out via the helpline at 0308258001 for assistance with any placement concerns.
