Dr. Clement Apaak, the Member of Parliament for Builsa South Constituency, has continued to transform lives through his unwavering dedication to education, healthcare, water, and sanitation. His initiatives have significantly improved the well-being of his constituents.
In Uwasi, Dr. Apaak has constructed a KG block at Zuasa, renovated Uwasi primary school and a teacher’s quarters, donated 100 dual desks to Uwasi primary school, and provided funding for filling portholes and some bridges on the Uwasi road. He has also drilled four boreholes in Uwasi, two in Tuedema, one in Zuasa, and one in Abai-yeri, ensuring access to clean water. The Uwasi community water system has also been repaired and maintained.
At Zamsa, Dr. Apaak has renovated a 6-unit classroom block and the Zamsa chips compound, and drilled a borehole to provide clean water. In Gobsa, he has renovated a 3-unit classroom block and drilled a borehole. Chansa has benefited from a constructed 3-unit classroom block with auxiliary facilities and a borehole.
Gbedema has seen significant development, with the renovation of a 3-unit classroom block at Kunkwak, renovation of a chips compound at Jagsa Guuta, and provision of a 10,000-liter pole tank to the Gbedema health center. Ongoing projects include the renovation of the Gbedema central primary school, construction of a 6-unit classroom block and 12-unit water closet toilet facility at Gbedema central, and construction of a 2-setter toilet facility at Gbedema chips compound. Seven boreholes have been drilled in Gbedema, three in Jagsa Guuta, one in Dabomsa, two in Zeng, and one in Gbedema chips compound.
Bachonsa has benefited from the renovation of a teacher’s quarters that was gutted by fire, construction of a maternity ward at Bachonsa chips, and drilling of a borehole at Nyambisa. Doninga has seen the rehabilitation of a 6-unit classroom block, rehabilitation of Doninga JHS, rehabilitation of Doninga health center, renovation of Wupiensa chips compound, and renovation of the Wupiensa KG and primary school. An ongoing project is the construction of a KG block at Doninga.
Dr. Apaak’s commitment to creating positive change has earned him recognition as a champion of education and public service. Through his Student Support Programme, initiated in 2017, Dr. Apaak has supported 995 students with GH¢747,000. In 2024 alone, 264 students benefited from GH¢231,200 from his portion of the common fund.
