Hearts of Oak secured their second consecutive victory with a 1-0 victory over Vision FC at the University of Ghana Stadium on Friday night.

With the victory, the Phobians move up to fourth place in the standings, four points clear of the top spot. This comes after the Accra-based team’s thrilling 2-0 victory over Medeama on the road in Tarkwa last week, which indicated a serious comeback.

Mawuli Wayo scored the game’s only goal, securing the victory with a quick header from his path.

Hearts of Oak have won consecutive games for the first time this season, bringing renewed optimism to the club and their fans.

The Phobians have improved their defense while maintaining their strength in the front, demonstrating a balanced game plan under their current coaching setup.

Hearts next will aim to build on this momentum as they face Karela United in their next fixture.

Vision on the other hand, will look to regroup after a disappointing night, setting sights on a comeback performance against Dreams FC.
