A suspected armed robber has been lynched at Agormanya in the Lower Manya Krobo Municipality of the Eastern region.
The suspect, yet to be identified and believed to be in his 30s, was allegedly brutalized to death by a mob in the community after he was caught red handed in the act Wednesday dawn.
According to Emmanuel Tetteh, a local journalist ,the suspect burgled items in a Container shop and was carrying away the stolen items mostly fabrics but was noticed leading to the attack that led to his death.
Many residents have trooped to the scene to catch a glimpse of the body of the suspect. The Police are yet to arrive at the scene.
Residents in the Area have been complaining about increasing incidents of burglary which has led to the loss of thousands of properties.
They explained that many homes and shops have been burgled by unknown suspects in recent times.
