Shatta Wale has disclosed he will present the Worcester City key he received in the United States to President Akufo-Addo.
The dancehall artiste is currently on a tour in the USA and has promised to show the award to the Ghanaian president when he returns.
The ‘Taking Over’ singer received the key from the Mayor of the City of Worcester in Massachusetts, Joseph Petty, in recognition of his contributions to the arts industry.
The Key to Worcester symbolizes that the owner has all the rights and privileges of a free man in the city.
“With the key I have, I want to bring it to our president to thank him that under his governance I have received something in the name of Ghana so I want him to open up our industry for us…” he disclosed to Okay FM.
