Independent Presidential candidate and Leader of Movement for Change, Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen has asked Ghanaians to reject any political party that comes to them with money with the interest of buying their vote in the December 7 elections.
Speaking to cheerful supporters of the Movement at Obogu in the Asante Akim South Constituency, Alan stated categorically that it is disrespectful for anyone to give money to voters after neglecting them all this while.
“They will come and share things for you to vote for them. They will come with money but think about it twice,” Mr Kyerematen stated.
“If after all these years they did not come to you and now they are giving you money, it simply shows that they don’t respect you” Alan told the people of Obogu during his campaign.
In his touching message which turned the mood and faces of citizens of Obogu, Alan told them politics is to make change in the lives of people, hence if they find no development they must vote against the NPP in the December 7 polls.
“We do politics for the development of the country. We have to change them if the country has not moved forward after they took power,” Alan said.
Mr Alan Kyerematen is on a 19 day campaign tour in the Ashanti Region where he is expected to make great impact in the December 7 polls.
