As we approach the Council of State elections, the Western North Region stands at a defining moment, a moment that calls for visionary, experienced, and selfless leadership. In this regard, one name stands out as the ideal candidate to represent our beloved region: Chairman Michael Aidoo, affectionately known as Chairman Big Aidoo. In the just ended general elections, Chairman Aidoo spearheaded the NDC’s remarkable success, securing 8 out of 9 parliamentary seats, including the recapture of Sefwi Wiawso, Akontombra and Bibiani Ahwiawso Bekwai constituencies in the Western North Region. His leadership also contributed significantly to the massive victory of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama with over 60% votes in the region. This achievement is a testament to his ability to mobilize people, build consensus, and deliver results.

Beyond politics, Chairman Big Aidoo’s heart beats for the people especially the youth. Through his scholarship program, he sponsors over 140 students annually, enabling them to pursue higher education in fields such as Law, Engineering, Nursing, and Midwifery.
