President John Dramani Mahama says he will fix the economic challenge facing the nation.
Addressing Parliament on the State of the Nation, President Mahama, however, stated that his administration’s reset agenda is on the path of growth and prosperity.
“I John Dramani Mahama, I will fix the economic crisis confronting our country and reset it on a path of growth and prosperity.
“The state of the nation is not good. Our economy is in crisis, and the people of Ghana are suffering unprecedented hardships,” President Mahama stated.
He also called on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), to participate in the upcoming economic dialogue.
“I hope members of the opposition will display love of country and participate in the upcoming National Economic Dialogue”, President Mahama stated.
He continued: “It is not my style to lament and shift blame. I am therefore not here to lament, even though there is much to lament about.
“I promised to fix ‘dumsor,’ and I fixed it. There was no power rationing or load management in Ghana”.
