In the buildup to Ghana’s biggest volleyball event, the 2025 Super Volleyball Championship, the official team seedings were conducted live on The Game Show at the GHOne TV studios.
The draw was chaired by the show’s host, Joel Adom Acheampong, together with the Technical Director of the Super Volleyball Championship, Alfred Nii Akuffo.
The draw began with the women’s category, where officials selected teams into two groups, that is Pool A and Pool B. In Pool A, Ghana Air Force were the first to be drawn, joining AS Douanes from Burkina Faso, Ghana Police, and the defending champions, Ghana Army.
Pool B features Kalibi team, who recently clinched both the Champion of Champions title and the Greater Accra Volleyball Association League, dream alongside them is Nigeria Customs, El Wak Wings, and Ghana Immigration.

Attention then shifted to the men’s division, where Ghana Army, champions of the Greater Accra Volleyball League, were placed in Pool A with AS Douanes from Burkina Faso, El Wak Wings, and Ghana Air Force. Pool B will see the defending Super Volleyball champions Ghana Police compete against Nigeria Customs, the All Stars Team from Benin, and Ghana Navy.
The draw marks another key step in preparations for what promises to be a thrilling edition of the Super Volleyball Championship, a competition that continues to raise the standard of the sport across Ghana and West Africa.
