Ghanaian media personality Sally Mann has rejected claims that she deliberately makes negative comments about artistes in order to trend, insisting that her outspoken views are not motivated by clout or social media attention.
Speaking in an interview on Starr Showbiz with host Feeling Daddy, Sally Mann said she does not speak with the intention of going viral, stressing that people often pick and circulate parts of her conversations because her opinions sound different.
“I don’t need to trend for anything. I speak my mind and people pick what they want from it,” she stated.
The outspoken broadcaster explained that most of the issues she comments on are already in the public domain, adding that expressing an honest opinion should not automatically be labelled as an attack. According to her, negativity is often projected onto her words by audiences who disagree with her views.

Addressing public perception, she said she is not bothered by how the entertainment industry or social media users see her, noting that she lives a fulfilled life outside the spotlight. She revealed that she has been married for 12 years, has two children and runs her own business alongside her media work.
Despite frequently being associated with negative trends, Sally Mann maintained that she does not set out to attack anyone, stressing that her priority is truth, integrity and personal peace rather than popularity.
