The Ghana women’s national football team the Black Queens, sent a thunderous statement in the Pink Ladies Cup, dismantling Russia women’s national football team 4-0 in a dominant display that had fans on their feet.
From the very first whistle, the Black Queens controlled the tempo. Stella Nyamekye opened the scoring with a composed finish that set the tone for the game. Doris Boaduwaa then struck twice before halftime, leaving the Russian side reeling at 3-0. The victory was sealed in the second half when Ajegipena netted the fourth goal, capping a flawless performance.
With two games down and one remaining in the tournament, the Black Queens are riding high on confidence. Their blend of attacking flair and defensive discipline shows they are serious contenders for the Pink Ladies Cup crown.

If this form continues, the Black Queens could be unstoppable as they head to the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations this year.
