The Parkosohene, Nana Boakye Amponsah Okofroban III has confirmed the removal of Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene, popularly known as 2PAC as the Head of Family for the Ekuona Family with the appointment of Abusuapanyin Kwabena Brefo, as the Acting Head of Family.

Following from this, the Acting Head of the Ekuona Royal Family has now instructed its lawyers to discontinue a legal case initiated by former Abusua Panin Kofi Owusu against Akosua Serwaa Fosuh, wife of legendary musician Daddy Lumba.

In a letter dated March 25, 2026, Abusuapanyin Kwabena Brefo, the Acting Head of Family, stated, “I have been instructed by the family to direct that you discontinue the ongoing case… as the said suit does not align with the intentions and objectives of the family.”

The case in question is SUIT NO.: GJ/0437/2026 entitled ABUSUA PANIN KOFI OWUSU VRS AKOSUA SERWAA FOSUH & 3 OTHERS.

Abusuapanyin Brefo requested the lawyers to discontinue the case by close of day March 26, 2026, saying, “Accordingly, you are by this letter requested to discontinue the said case…”

The Acting Head of Family also requested an inventory of all ongoing legal matters and outstanding invoices for legal services rendered to the family.

A letter from the Chief of Parkoso confirming Abusuapanyin Brefo’s appointment as Acting Head of Family was signed on March 11, 2026.

The move comes after Abusuapanyin Brefo succeeded Mr. Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene, who was customarily removed on March 1, 2026.

Below is the statement from the Acting Head of family:

NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN FAMILY LEADERSHIP AND REQUEST TO DISCONTINUE CASE IN SUIT NO.: GJ/0437/2026 ENTITLED ABUSUA PANIN KOFI OWUSU VRS AKOSUA SERWAA FOSUH & 3 OTHERS

I write to inform you that, I, Abusuapanyin Kwabena Brefo (a.k.a Mr. Jones Kennedy Brefo) of the Ekuona Royal Family of Parkoso have been appointed as the acting Head ofthe Ekuona Royal Family of Parkoso, succeeding Mr. Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene who was customarily removed on the 1TM March, 2026.

Pursuant to my overarching responsibilities, I wish to bring to your notice that I am taking over the conduct ofall ongoing legal matters pertaining to the family.

In this regard, I kindly request that you provide me with a comprehensive inventory of all cases that my predecessor, Mr. Victor Kofi Owusu Boahene instructed you to handle on behalf ofthe Ekuona Royal Family in his representative capacity.

Significantly, I have been instructed by the family to direct that you discontinue the ongoing case of SUIT NO.: GJ/0437/2026 entitled ABUSUA PANIN KOFI OWUSU VRS AKOSUA SERWAA FOSUH & 3
OTHERS as the said suit does not align with the intentions and objectives of the family.

Accordingly, you are by this letter requested to discontinue the said case which you commenced for the family through its former head, ni a representative capacity, by close of day 26th March, 2026.

Additionally, I would be grateful if you would immediately furnish me with any outstanding invoice due to you for the legal services rendered the family so far.
