As Ghana prepares for another vibrant December in GH and the globally recognised Detty December season, Accra is gearing up for one of the continent’s most anticipated live music events -The African Festival (TAF) Concert, the explosive finale of the 3-day African Festival.

Scheduled for 30th December 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), the concert is already being hailed as “a landmark Pan-African music night” set to draw thousands of festival-goers, diaspora travellers, and international visitors. Gates open at 7pm, and the show ignites at 8pm.

This star-studded musical spectacle is positioned as the grand climax of the festival and is expected to be one of the defining highlights of Detty December in Ghana.

A Powerhouse Line-up of African Music Legends

The African Festival Concert assembles some of the most influential voices in African music, offering a rare multi-generational, cross-cultural musical experience.

Yvonne Chaka Chaka – The Princess of Africa. A global icon whose timeless catalogue has shaped African music for over three decades.

Rocky Dawuni – Four-time GRAMMY Awards nominee and global ambassador for Afro-roots sound.

Wiyaala – The Lioness of Africa. One of Africa’s most electrifying performers, known for her fierce vocals and stagecraft.

Together, these artistes deliver a festival finale that blends heritage, rhythm, dance, and cultural pride, a night designed to celebrate African excellence on a global performance scale.

Part of a Three-Day Pan-African Cultural Experience

The African Festival Concert is the culminating event of The African Festival, running from 28th to 30th December 2025 at AICC. This year’s edition has been curated as a comprehensive cultural journey, aimed at positioning Ghana as the leading December tourism destination in Africa.
