EMY Africa has announced the upcoming Africa Rising Symposium, set to take place on Thursday, 19th June 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre. The high-level gathering, themed “Africa’s Defining Decade: Innovation, Leadership, and Global Influence,” will serve as the official launch of the EMY Africa Expo 2025 – a four-day celebration of African entrepreneurship, innovation, culture, and excellence.
Following the success of its maiden edition held in collaboration with the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) last June, the Africa Rising Symposium has rapidly established itself as a premier platform for dialogue, collaboration, and forward-thinking leadership across the continent.
The 2025 edition will bring together an impressive line-up of African and diaspora thought leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and innovators. Confirmed speakers include renowned business leader Vusi Thembekwayo, industrialist Dr Ernest Ofori Sarpong, Dr James Orleans-Lindsay, entrepreneur Alex Dadey, Vodafone Ghana CEO Patricia Obo-Nai, and sustainability advocate Valerie Labi.
Participants can expect engaging keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities covering critical themes such as digital transformation, sustainability, creative economies, youth empowerment, and strategic leadership. These conversations aim to shape a progressive agenda for Africa’s sustainable development and global positioning in the next decade.
EMY Africa says it remains dedicated to amplifying African voices and impact through events that promote innovation, leadership, and collaboration. Organisers are encouraging early registration for individuals, organisations, and media representatives looking to participate in this flagship event.
