Airtel Ghana partners expressPay to ease data bundle purchase

Airtel, the Smartphone Network and expressPay, Ghana’s leading innovative electronic payments platform have announced a partnership that enables Airtel customers to directly purchase data bundles through the expressPay app.

The solution offers Airtel customers a seamless way to purchase data bundles anywhere, anytime through expressPay’s app or website using their Airtel Money wallets, Visa, MasterCard and GH-Link cards instantly.

This partnership adds to the channels available to customers on the Smartphone Network to purchase bundles and make payments for goods and services.

The CEO of expressPay Curtis Vanderpuije commented; “We are excited about continuing to create value and to meet the basic payment needs of consumers. Getting data should be a simple and easy process. We are sure consumers will embrace the solution as we continue to make their lives a little easier”.

Commenting on the partnership, Rosy Fynn, Marketing Director at Airtel Ghana said “This partnership provides our customers the convenience of purchasing data bundles in real time anytime, anywhere and adds to the other channels we have provided to make their lives easier – including purchasing talk time and data bundles via our Airtel Money platform and on Facebook.

As a business, responding to the lifestyle needs of our customers is our hallmark. We are constantly exploring and leveraging partnerships such as this to increase channels through which customers can access our services conveniently”.

To access the service, Airtel customers can simply download the expressPay app by visiting www.expresspaygh.com/app to start enjoying the convenience of purchasing bundles anytime, anywhere. Once app is downloaded, customers can login and select “Airtel” from the “Internet” category, enter the phone number of the recipient of the data bundle, enter their Airtel money account number or VISA, GH-link card details and click “Pay” to receive data bundles instantly!
