Anthony Dzamefe, the founder and CEO of Caveman Watches, Ghana’s first high-end watch brand, has been recognised as one of the Top 100 Influential Global Voices 2025 by Leaders Without Borders International Economic Development & Investment Business Summit.

The award ceremony took place at the Palace of Westminster, House of Lords, United Kingdom, where the CEO of Caveman Watches  an received  honour.

At the Leaders Without Borders event, which brings together global business leaders, policymakers, and investors, Mr Dzamefe was lauded for his entrepreneurial vision and impact on African luxury branding. His ability to build an internationally recognized brand from Ghana, while promoting local craftsmanship, earned him this prestigious accolade.

Speaking on his achievement, Dzamefe reflected on the journey that brought him here. “This recognition is not just for me but for every African entrepreneur proving that world-class brands can be built on the continent. Caveman Watches is a testament to innovation, resilience, and the power of dreaming beyond borders.”

The event was graced by high-profile dignitaries from across Africa, including the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Dennis Idahosa from Nigeria; Prof. Mthuli Ncube, Minister of Finance, Economic Development & Investment Promotion from the Republic of Zimbabwe and Christopher Williams-Martin, CEO, FlyEliteJets, UK.

Dzamefe’s journey from a self-taught watchmaker to the founder of Caveman Watches, Africa’s premier luxury watch brand, has been nothing short of remarkable. With a commitment to craftsmanship, heritage, and storytelling, he has positioned his brand among the elite, gaining international recognition while staying true to African excellence.

Caveman Watches has disrupted the industry by infusing African storytelling into watchmaking, an industry long dominated by European brands. Under his leadership, Caveman Watches has redefined luxury from an African perspective, gaining endorsements from high-profile figures, including global celebrities and business moguls, solidifying its reputation beyond the continent.

His impact extends beyond business; he mentors and advocates for Africa’s creative and manufacturing industries, inspiring a new generation of innovators.

Dzamefe’s recognition at the Leaders Without Borders event further amplifies his mission of placing African excellence on the world map. As he continues to push boundaries, his story is a testament to the fact that luxury and precision craftsmanship can thrive from Africa to the world.
